Trivia

Another good solid trivia performance from the Devil Hates Kung-Fu at the Strawb. Actually we only won by one point on 55. But in our usual style, under-played it. Our reserved responses to correct answers apparently faked out the rowdy team downstairs into thinking they had it in the bag. Where they cheered and clapped themselves, we merely shared respectful nods.
The replacement host went through the questions like lightning so we were actually done before I had to leave for the train.
Pete and I also each had the Mixed Char Grill. Excellent value. Although I made it through the ribs, sausage and fries, I still had a small amount of steak and chop on my plate.

The cabinet is not however. Not enough to be noticeable to the naked eye. Just enough to waste a side of MDF when I was attempting to put some more panelling together.
Well, the back panel is on in any case. It also serves a secondary purpose of supporting the new monitor lifts that I make-shifted into place after getting a new monitor with slightly different dimensions to the old one.
The lack of detail in the photo hides a multitude of sins. But I still have some finessing to do around how the monitor sits in there. Including providing a couple of finger grips to make changing between horizontal and vertical positioning a little less awkward.
