Silent Hill: Origins

I was looking for another contender on the hand-helds to while away the train time. Silent Hill: Origins is not it.

After the fun I had on Logan’s Shadow, I can’t deal with the frustration this game is causing me. I have been particularly annoyed with the camera positioning and combat. Both casually mentioned in Yahtzee‘s review above but I guess its been so long since I’ve visited this game series, I had forgotten that it was part and parcel.

Marvel Movie Crossovers

I have read of this on several blogs now. How freakin’ cool is that!

Never mind that we get an Iron Man movie and a do-over of the previous, lamentable Hulk. (Eric, mate. I wanted to like your Dr. Banner. I really did.) But its possible that they will be appearing in each others flicks! And as a cherry on top we get the Ultimate Nick Fury, in Samuel L. Jackson making appearances. (Hoff, buddy. I wanted to like your Fury… ah, who am I kidding?)

And! Its impossible for Marvel to over do this kind of thing as they have in their comic books (à la Infinity War, Operation: Galactic Storm and every other X-Event that has emptied my bank account.)

Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow

I finished this on the PSP this morning.

Logan's Shadow

On normal of course. I only had the final escalator-platform thing section to go and managed (after many attempts) to complete it in my morning train journey. I remember my brother loving the original Syphon Filter series back on PSX. But, never really getting into it myself, I wasn’t familiar with Gabe Logan and his associates.
